WWE is holding the final WWE Performance Center tryout of the year, and a number of athletes participated.
On Twitter, @lexveraux posted a thread and highlighted the attendees of the last WWE Performance Center tryout of 2023.
The participants, according to the thread, are as follows:
- Lily Riggs, fitness instructor
- Lyla Fit, fitness influencer and cosplayer
- Elaina Gu, former D1 swimmer, graduate of Princeton University; fitness trainer
- Nyousha Nakhjiri, Iranian-born Canadian boxer
- Leigh Laurel, weightlifter and amateur cosplay artist, fitness influencer
- Penina Tuilaepa, Lindenwood Athletics alumn; professional rugby player for the Manusina Samoa
- Ven Yovenko, powerlifter
- Jonathan Hess, football player for Ole Miss
- Lake-Korte Moore, football player for the Saskatchewan Roughriders of the Canadian Football League (CFL)
- Justus Tavai, former football player; played for University of Hawaii and San Diego State in college and signed as undrafted free agent by the New England Patriots
- Teton Saltes, football player for the Arlington Renegades of the XFL. Played for the University of New Mexico in college. Signed by New York Jets as an undrafted free agent and later released.
- Evan Thompson, professional golf player, first golfer to try out for WWE; former linebacker
- Husam Ateyia, powerlifter and ICU nurse
- Logan Tago, rugby player
